Bradley Busted Mugshots
About 15,419 people lived in Bradley at the April 1, 2020 census. That makes it the third-largest municipality in the Kankakee County Circuit Clerk's table. The Bradley Police Department sits at 147 South Michigan Avenue. Its activity-report interface is public. The archive runs historical and periodic, though. It is not a booking-photo roster.
Bradley has no city jail of its own. Once someone goes to county detention, the Sheriff's corrections system creates the booking record. The Sheriff's MIS page says a digital photograph is taken at booking. The public Tyler view does not display a photo. The arresting agency, the jail, and the court each keep a different piece of the file.
For current custody questions, Tyler is the place to look. The Bradley archive covers older police activity instead. Neither source promises instant results, since a report date, booking date, and public posting date can all differ.
The Bradley Police Department page is the official source for the department and its reporting interface.
The image points to the city record channel. For custody status and booking photos, the county Tyler portal and the Sheriff's FOIA office remain the official routes.
Bradley Booking Records
A Bradley arrest that leads to county detention can produce a booking record. Fields may include a name, subject number, booking number, booking date, custody status, housing facility, bond, court date, and charges. Tyler's public result may add a scheduled release date, demographic descriptors, a multiple-booking flag, and related agency details.
The detail template can tie the booking to a court, courtroom, docket number, offense date, arresting agency, sentence date, and disposition. Charges at booking can change or disappear as the case moves. Tyler's public view shows no photo. The Sheriff's MIS page confirms one is taken at intake, though. For an actual booking photo, a Sheriff's records request is the right route.
| Field | What it tells the reader |
|---|---|
| Name and subject number | The county identifier used to distinguish similar names. |
| Booking number and date | The intake event connected to the county record. |
| In-custody status | The public custody signal returned by Tyler when available. |
| Housing facility | The facility value in the result, without treating JCDC and KCDC as one building. |
| Release fields | A projected or scheduled release entry, which is not always a confirmed release. |
| Bond and bail | The bond number, type, or amount associated with the booking. |
| Court fields | The court, courtroom, next date, or docket information when shown. |
| Charge and agency | The recorded charge and the agency tied to the arrest. |
| Disposition | A later case outcome that should be checked with the Circuit Clerk. |
Some material stays out of public view. Juvenile records, sealed or expunged files, investigative content, victim information, and security-sensitive details may all be withheld. The public record is narrower than the jail's internal file. A missing Tyler result does not explain itself without an official response.
When Bradley Busted Mugshots Appear
No fixed timeline connects a Bradley arrest to a public Tyler result. The MIS page describes intake, including the photograph. It promises no posting schedule. An officer may file a report before the person even reaches the county facility, and intake may finish before anything is searchable. The activity archive can be far older than either event.
If a name is missing, check the spelling. Try the subject or booking number too. Use the in-custody option for present-custody questions, and booking dates for a bounded search. When the search still fails, contact the Sheriff or file a records request. A missing result proves nothing about release, sealing, or destruction.
Bradley's activity reports serve a different purpose. They are periodic police documents, not a same-day or weekly booking feed. That distinction matters for any accurate Bradley search.
No official county 72-hour, seven-day, or weekly booking blotter was located. Tyler's date fields can narrow a search, but they do not turn the public result into a complete feed.
Where Bradley Busted Mugshots Appear
Official sources split by custodian. The county Tyler portal is the current custody path. The Sheriff's MIS page explains the booking photograph, and the Sheriff's FOIA route handles any photo or booking record that is not online. Bradley Police provides the activity-report archive plus a separate records path. Local news and unofficial pages may mention Bradley cases, but they are selected or copied sources and prove nothing about present custody.
| Channel | Photo? | Status | How to access |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kankakee Tyler portal | No public image in inspected view | Official county custody | Search name, number, date range, custody, or housing. |
| Sheriff MIS booking record | Digital photo taken at intake | Official county record | Use the county FOIA route for a releasable copy. |
| Bradley Police Activity Reports | No booking-photo output observed | Official historical reports | Use the archive for periodic police documents, not current custody. |
| Daily Journal Crime and Courts | Occasional agency-attributed photo | Local reporting | Read selected stories, then check Tyler and the court. |
| Kankakee Times | Case by case | Local reporting | Use as selected context, not a booking index. |
| Busted Newspaper Kankakee | May show copied images | Unofficial county archive | Current custody and disposition are not verified. |
| RecentlyBooked Kankakee | May show images | Unofficial recent listing | Release status is unknown unless an official source confirms it. |
| Mugshots.com Kankakee | Historical archive may include photos | Unofficial | Check the county and court sources independently. |
| Mugshots.zone Kankakee | Archive may include photos | Unofficial | No dependable Bradley-only filter or current status is promised. |
County-level pages can include Bradley entries. They group records at the Kankakee County level. A copied photo, booking date, or charge label is not a Tyler result. When sources conflict, the official custody and court records should control.
Busted in Bradley: Lookup Steps
A Bradley search works best on three tracks. County Tyler shows who is in county custody and which booking fields are public. Bradley Police holds the city report on the incident. The court portal picks up the story after the arrest. All three can be searched by name, date, booking number, or case number. None of them replaces the others.
- Open the Sheriff's official inmate-search page and follow the Tyler link. Search by name, subject number, or booking number.
- Select in-custody for a current county question. Use booking-from and booking-to dates, and read the housing field returned by Tyler.
- Review the booking date, bond, court date, agency, charges, and disposition fields. Treat the charge as an charge at this stage.
- Ask the Sheriff's FOIA officer for a county booking record or photo if the public Tyler interface does not show the image.
- Use Bradley Police records for the city report and the Circuit Clerk Tyler Odyssey Portal for case status and disposition.
The county-wide roster, the photo-request fallback, and the custody boundaries are laid out in the Kankakee County arrest and booking resource. Bradley's own page adds a warning about its historical activity reports.
Bradley Police Reports
Bradley Police keeps a records page with two email routes. One handles records requests. The other handles FOIA requests. The city FOIA form names Kym Nelson as Deputy Clerk at the same Bradley address and adds a phone route for records. If the city department made the arrest, ask Bradley for the incident, arrest, or activity report. For a county booking record or digital photo, ask the Sheriff separately.

The Bradley FOIA form sets clear terms. The first 50 black-and-white standard pages are free, and later pages cost 15 cents each. Non-standard media or certification can bring actual-cost charges. These are village fees, not a county booking-photo fee. Before ordering a large copy set, ask about the format and any current cost.
A strong request names the person, the approximate arrest date, a case or incident number if known, and the exact report you want. Say you prefer electronic delivery where possible. If the report involves a county booking, send a second request to the Sheriff's FOIA office and include the booking number or subject number when you have it.
Bradley Activity Archive
The Police Activity Reports interface is Bradley's most distinctive local source. Its public years are 2018, 2019, and 2020. Entries point to periodic report documents, like a December 2019 police department report posted in January 2020. That gives the archive real value as a historical trail and an official city record path. It is not a live list of Bradley bookings.
No booking photos appear there. An arrest may not show up in any report, either. A report's date may not even match the booking date. Still, an older report can pin down the agency, the event period, or the paper trail. Current custody always belongs to Tyler. Never fill a gap in activity reports with an unofficial copied image.
That boundary prevents a common mistake. An older report stays useful even after a person leaves county custody. A current Tyler result can also exist with no matching new Bradley activity document. Use the archive for the city report question. Use the county record for the detention question.
Busted in Bradley News
Shaw Local's Daily Journal covers Bradley inside its broader Kankakee County Crime and Courts and Police Reports sections. A story may describe an arrest, a police report, or a later court event. Some carry photographs credited to a police agency or the Sheriff's Office. Selection changes by day. A news item alone does not show current county custody.
The Kankakee Times Crime and Courts section is another local source worth checking. WVLI's audio reporting sometimes mentions area arrests or court matters. WIQI has no dedicated county booking-photo section. When a story names Bradley, trace the event through the city report, the county Tyler record, and the Circuit Clerk case rather than stopping at the headline.
Busted Newspaper, RecentlyBooked, Mugshots.com, and Mugshots.zone may file Bradley entries under a county-local page. None is a guaranteed municipality index. A copied photo or charge field can go stale, and none of those pages supplies the final court disposition. Start with the official Bradley and Kankakee sources, and treat every secondary reference with a caveat.
The county media path also runs through Crime News & Mugshots, which keeps local reporting apart from custody records and unofficial archives.
Kankakee County FOIA Fallback
Sometimes Tyler shows no Bradley booking record or photo. The Sheriff's FOIA process is the official fallback then. Put the full request in the body of the email and send it to foiakcso@kankakeecountyil.gov. County instructions say attachments or hyperlinks in email requests will not be processed. Mail or hand-deliver requests to Attn: Freedom of Information Officer, Kankakee County Sheriff's Office, 3000 S. Justice Way, Kankakee, IL 60901. The main office phone is 815-802-7100. Corrections non-emergency is 815-802-7200.

Illinois FOIA sets a five business day window for a written reply. The agency can lawfully extend it. The rule covering arrest information speaks to qualifying details and any photo on hand. Nothing in it guarantees a particular image gets released, or that the public Tyler page will refresh on schedule. On costs, the Sheriff's copy schedule waives fees for the first 50 black-and-white letter or legal pages. After that, each page costs 15 cents. Whenever an electronic copy exists, ask for that instead.
Narrow requests work best. Include the full name, the rough booking date, a booking or subject number, and the arresting agency, then state plainly that you want the booking record and photo if releasable. If anything gets withheld, request the missing fields plus the statute behind the decision. Watch the public Tyler housing field too. It tells you whether an entry means Jerome Combs Detention Center (JCDC) or Kankakee County Detention Center (KCDC), which are two separate facilities. Bradley alone tells you nothing about which one holds the person.
Bradley Custody States
Different records capture different moments. A Bradley police report marks the city event. A county booking follows it. The court case and the state custody record each carry their own timeline. Someone arrested minutes ago may not surface in Tyler yet, while a person held at the county shows an in-custody signal and a housing field. After release, the entry may drop out of public view even though the booking record itself can still be requested. The county has never published a firm rule for how long released entries linger in the search.
| Custody stage | Best record path |
|---|---|
| Bradley arrest | Bradley Police report, activity document, or city FOIA record when the department made the arrest. |
| County intake | County MIS and booking record, including the digital photo taken at intake. |
| Current county custody | Tyler in-custody indicator and the housing facility returned in the result. |
| Released or missing result | Do not guess the reason. Use Sheriff's FOIA and the Circuit Clerk case portal. |
| Sentenced state custody | Illinois Department of Corrections search, separate from county booking; no public photo output was observed in the inspected search. |
The Kankakee Circuit Clerk Tyler Odyssey Portal holds the ongoing case and judgment record. Filters let the public sort by case, party, date, booking number, status, judgment, and disposition. One caution applies. That public setup is not a live warrant search. A state custody result, likewise, cannot stand in for the original Bradley police report or county booking record.
Match the source to the question. Bradley Police covers the city event. Tyler answers county custody. The Circuit Clerk settles the case outcome. Keeping those custody states straight makes any search for someone busted in Bradley sharper and far less likely to repeat an unverified claim.
